Advanced Welding

The Advanced Welding Technology program equips students with high-level skills in multiple welding processes while introducing cutting-edge Lincoln Electric robotic welding systems. Students train in a state-of-the-art lab environment that mirrors real-world industrial and manufacturing settings, gaining expertise in fabrication, construction, aerospace, and automotive applications.

Through hands-on instruction, students master Flux Core Arc Welding (FCAW) for heavy fabrication, Gas Metal Arc Welding (GMAW) for high-speed MIG production, Shielded Metal Arc Welding (SMAW) for structural and repair work, and Gas Tungsten Arc Welding (GTAW) for precision welding of stainless steel, aluminum, and other non-ferrous metals.

A highlight of the program is the integration of robotic welding technology, where students program, troubleshoot, and operate Lincoln Electric robotic welding systems—preparing them for high-demand careers in automated and advanced manufacturing. Graduates will leave with multiple AWS certifications and the technical expertise needed to enter the workforce or continue postsecondary training.
