Advanced Welding
The Advanced Welding Technology program will equip students with skills in two welding processes while introducing cutting edge Lincoln Electric robotic and cobot welding systems.
This program will focus on automated and select manual welding processes. GMAW (MIG) welding and GTAW (TIG) welding are the selected manual processes. Students train in a state-of-the-art lab environment that mirrors real-world industrial and manufacturing settings. Students will gain experience in fabrication, construction, aerospace, and automotive applications.
A highlight of the program is the integration of robotic welding technology, where students program, troubleshoot, and operate Lincoln Electric robotic welding systems-preparing them for high-demand careers in automated and advanced manufacturing. Graduates will have the opportunity to earn AWS certifications and the technical expertise needed to enter the workforce or continue postsecondary training.
